AetherSX2 guides, sorted by the problem you actually have

This is the index of every English guide on the site — 33 articles — grouped so Google and humans can crawl a topic instead of an alphabetical card wall. Download and BIOS steps live on the homepage and the BIOS page. Version archives live on older versions. Everything below is how to make a dumped disc run well on a phone, TV box, or desktop.

If a title is slow, open the chipset settings page for your SoC before you raise internal resolution. If the screen is black, that is a renderer/readback issue, not a missing ISO. If you came here from Search Console looking for a thin tag archive: there is not one. Each URL below is a standalone guide with its own tables, FAQs, and related links.

Setup, files, and saves

CHD conversion, memory cards, disc swaps, and save states. BIOS region notes live on the BIOS page. Start here if the APK installs but games will not boot or progress will not stick.

Settings and performance

Vulkan versus OpenGL, EE cycle rate, and chipset profiles. Use the general settings hub first, then the Snapdragon or Dimensity page that matches your SoC.

Crashes, black screens, and input lag

Force-closes, a black GS output, and Bluetooth pads that feel late are different bugs. Pick the symptom page instead of turning every speed hack on at once.

Per-game profiles

Heavy 3D titles need their own resolution and EE notes. These pages are measured on Android, not copied from a PCSX2 desktop wiki.

Phones, TV boxes, and Chromebooks

Adreno plus Vulkan is the easy path. Mali, Android TV, and ChromeOS each change renderer choice, storage paths, and which pad connection actually works.

AetherSX2 versus other emulators

NetherSX2 is a patch on the same APK. PCSX2 is covered on the PC setup page. Play!, PPSSPP, and RetroArch live on one comparison hub. Dolphin is GameCube/Wii.

PC, Mac, Linux, and iOS

There is no AetherSX2.exe. These four pages explain the real desktop or handheld path (usually PCSX2) and why iPhone cannot run the Android JIT.
